Dark Textures is a music blog that covers a range of rock styles, including the melodic, the heavy and the progressive. The current focus is on reviews of albums new and old with more discussion articles and live reviews to come over time. Although this blog was started prior to the Dark Textures radio show airing on Burn FM (the University of Birmingham's student radio station), that is where the name first established a public presence.
